Agile Development isn't new, it's been around since at least the mid-1990s, so you've probably heard of it. But although many people agree with the idea of Agile, we've found that very few people understand it.
We've used different versions of an agile approach since we started The IC in 2009. We've used agile principles to build software, to develop designs, to evolve user experience and to run and transform the company itself.
We blog about different aspects of Agile and this page collects those posts:
- What is Agile?
- Agile Development: When does it work?
- Agile Development: Success Stories
- Getting Started with Agile Development
- Why fixed-price, fixed-scope projects are nearly always a bad idea (at The IC our alternative blends an MVP with agile development)
Agile and Innovation
If you're interested in how Agile Development fits into a broader approach to innovation, no matter whether you're trying to start a company or working inside a very established organisation. Check out our Innovation, Startups & Being an Entrepreneur (or Intrapreneur) page.
